LUVOCRACY

By now I am sure you have all heard of this wonderful new website called 'luvocracy', however if somehow you have missed all of the excitement here is a general run down of what the site is all about.

Basically this is a website where you can share images of things you want to buy (similar to Pinterest) either that have already been 'recommended' on the site or by recommending them yourself. Here is where things are actually very impressive, you CAN purchase these items through the site, anything (well almost everything) you can order direct through them and the team will find you the best deal they possibly can.

I am fairly new to the site and I am still getting used to the layout but it seems to be quite easy to use. If you already use Pinterest then you should have no trouble at all. 

They also have a great policy where you can earn discounts on the website by recommending other people to join or purchase items that you have recommended

Oh and there is one cool feature I totally forgot to mention, you can 'Trust' someones profile if you Luv their style and choices so you will always see what that person recommend's which is a great way of customizing your searches.

Now here are a few shots of the site with details I would like to point out

This is 'your' profile page where other Luv'ers (now I'm just getting carried away with this word) can view a little snippet about you (AKA Bio), your collections, luvs and trusts. You also get to have a profile picture and a custom banner which is always a bit of fun (mine is pine cone's just because).

This is what the basic search page looks like, I have just typed 'Marc Jacobs' into the search bar in the top right hand corner and this is what you get. You can see all the different items that different people recommend to purchase under this search title. This is also where is most reminds me of Pinterest.

Above is the general 'Home Page' for the site with the side bar open. As you can see there are a whole lot of options. I think it is pretty self explanatory from here except I would like to point out that you get notifications when anyone else recommend's a product you have recommended, someone you trust posts a new item and for a few other reasons.

CONS: I only have one con about this website and it is that they DO NOT ship internationally, meaning they only ship to continental USA. This is quite difficult as I am based in Australia. On the plus they do have a note on the site stating they are working on getting the international shipping up and running so I cannot wait to see how that comes along

ASOS LOVES

So recently I have been lusting over so many things from ASOS. It feel like as soon as i'm broke they stock everything I could dream of. Being in the oddly transitional faze of fashion I am still addicted to  most of the Winter Trends with a few adjustments to be made for the changing climate, so shall we begin

My first current loves are all about comfort. Now a fabric traditional used in Fall and Winter and also in a more casual sense, sweater fabrics are having a comeback. Not in the mood for a tight fitting fabric or a clingy silk, how about a full length, full on sweater. Thats right, you can look 100% put together while feeling like you a lounging round at home!

Now here is where things get interesting. If you know me in real life, which you probably don't, you will know that I love my Black, I love my White and I love a good structured piece of clothing, so here is my dose of well ME for this season.

I am absolutely FAN GIRLING over the continuation of this androgynous Trend. I loved it the first time round and now the slightly more refined and flattering return on the manly shoe is exactly what I had been hoping for.

Just because things are heading in a slightly masculine direction doesn't mean you can't mix it up and add a feminine blouse into the mix. Try this ASOS one in a soft pink with a skinny jean and a black bra for the perfect mixed up look.

Something that has been making it reappearance for a while is 100% the CHECK. Chanel has brought out both a soft and summery pattern and a dark and wintry shade for everyone, no matter what you climate. This clutch is the perfect mix of simplistic designs and a heavy warm fabric!

Hello everyone, hope you are all very well. This is my new and improved BLOG! So welcome, enjoy, spend some time if you like. This is the most random blog post but I need to cover a few topics so here we go:

1. I HAVE A NEW BLOG
If you are reading this you may know me from either my previous blog (thechandelierist) or my youtube channel (thechandelierist or Zeeta Hansen). The reason I have made a new blog is because I want to move everything (my whole life) in a new direction. For a long time I have been struggling with who I am and who I want to be in the future and I am starting to figure that it is something you just decide. We have the choice to become the people we want to be. Yes there are other factors but if you want to be a good person, be a good person, there is literally nothing stopping you!

2. NOT JUST A BEAUTY GIRL
This is something that I have been toying with for a while. Although I began my Channel and Blog with the intention of making Beauty videos, it is not only the beauty community I love. I love funny videos, I love vlogs, I love lifestyle and I love everything that comes along with these, so with that note I am taking my whole internet life in a new direction. I have decided that not only do I want to share my Beauty and Fashion ideas with you all but I want to share my lifestyle tips and tricks, health and wellbeing ideas and stories and certain parts of my everyday life. So we shall see how this all turns out. DISCLAIMER: I am not stopping making Beauty videos, in fact I want to make as many as possible.

3. Personal Life
This will be the hardest part of all the decisions I have made. I now know that I want to share parts of my personal life and parts of my personal history with you guys. I have decided this based on a few reasons, the most important being that I feel a strong need to share what I have learnt from situations with people who may be experiencing the same thing or need some encouragement. It has always been in my nature to help and care for other people but I never thought my own personal experiences could help me achieve this. I have not had a smooth sailing life but I fight to have a better future every single day and I think it is this attitude that I have developed that will get to to where I want to go.

4. DESIGN AND STYLE
Something that I have kept mostly to myself over the last year and half is that I am an aspiring stylist and in some aspects designer. I am currently studying Visual Merchandising which  is an incredible course and this has really changed the way I think about everything so I want to share this with you all. I also want to promote the course not for any other reason but I think it should be more well known to young people to dream of working in Fashion or styling or design but don't know how to get there. After all I am just a small country town girl who has worked for Fashion week.

So that was my ramble for the night. I have no promises on how this will go but I just hope someone is reading this.
